I find the product has so many uses from a rust preventative to a lubricant. Comparing it to other products, I find it very versatile, as you can use it on nearly anything. Due to the cattle crush being out in the weather all the moving parts were rusting and seized up. I applied Lanoguard 3000 and have not had trouble with it since. Having a dozer, where possible, I use Lanoguard grease. Applying on nuts and bolts, I have no trouble ever undoing them, no matter what the situation. I use it on my hands as a hand cleaner before I do maintenance work. In winter it also acts as a hand moisturizer and prevents cracking and splitting in the hands. We use it on everything around the farm and household from door hinges in the house to preserving out door furniture. Eg, Polishing red cedar table.
