Our products - industrial use
Applications:
Lubrication: Use
Lanoguard spray wherever you would use a spray lubricant for long term
lubrication as it will not evaporate or leach off. A real bonus is that it
acts as a corrosion inhibitor and an anti-seize as while providing lubrication.
Use Lanoguard grease wherever you would use a heavy duty grease to
get the same benefits as above. Note: the grease is not suitable for packing
high-speed bearings, but can be used as a corrosion treatment by pre-heating
bearings and painting them with Lanoguard grease. They should then be packed
with load bearing high-speed grease.
Rust proofing: For
all metal products: firearms, tools, cars, trucks, trailers and machinery,
plant and pipes used for irrigation or aquaculture, saw blades: spray with
heavy duty or general purpose Lanoguard spray or apply a coat of grease over
the surface. Lanoguard will work effectively over painted surfaces and also
improves the appearance of painted surfaces. When spraying, wipe over with
a clean dry cloth to remove the excess. When applying grease, first melt
to a liquid (can be heated in a microwave with the lid off) and apply with
a paint brush.
Electrical: Spray
onto all electrical components to provide non-conductive corrosion inhibiting
waterproof barrier, as well as an anti-seize on spade clips, etc. Spray all
wiring and cables to stop perishing and keep them supple. Grease all battery
terminals to prevent corrosion and effectively create an interface free of
current when all connections are treated. Spray aerials and antennas to prevent
corrosion and electrolysis interfering with reception.
Welding anti-splatter:
Use spray or grease as a welding anti-splatter and nozzle dip (e.g. MIG
and plasma cutter nozzles) to protect surfaces from splatter and equipment
from splatter damage.
Waterproofing: Spray
all tarps, tents, covers, sewn seams etc, to waterproof and apply grease
to zippers to waterproof the seal and act as an anti-seize. Apply to exterior
blinds to waterproof and help restore faded colors and spray all runners
etc for lubrication and corrosion inhibiting.
Food Industry: Lanoguard
sprays and grease are fully approved for use in and around the food industry.
IOA No. 5525, Type A, Category 10 and IOA 5526, Type C, Category 12. Use
the spray or grease for lubrication and corrosion inhibiting. Also use the
spray as a protective coating for benches, cupboards, etc, as spills will
sit on the coating for easy cleaning rather than coming into contact with
the surface. Note: use sparingly (i.e. light spray and wipe over with a clean
dry cloth).
Rubber Grease: Lanoguard
products are ideal and effective rubber lubricant as they contain no petroleum
products. Used as a rubber grease, Lanoguard will prolong the life of O-rings,
seals, hoses, etc, as well as keeping them supple and improving sealing
qualities. It will also improve the appearance of exterior rubbers.
Preventing Electrolysis
in dissimilar materials: Lanoguard will prevent electrolytic corrosion
caused by dissimilar materials coming into direct contact. Once surfaces
are sprayed or grease is applied, there is a fine film of non-conductive
Lanoguard in between the two surfaces, preventing any reaction.
Anti-seize: Spray
or grease nuts, bolts, studs and screws to prevent any seizing in temperatures
up to 450C.
Penetrene: Spray
or soak rusted parts to free up previously seized parts.
Concreting: Apply
to shovels, trowels, formwork, around aluminum frames and windows in concrete
pours. Lanoguard stops concrete from adhering to surface. Its I also a very
good mold release.
Saws: Spray all
saws, chainsaws and wood working implements. Lanoguard will stop sap buildup
and corrosion caused by corrosive sap from timber. This treatment also gives
tools an improved appearance.
Fertilizers: Lanoguard
will stop all corrosion caused by fertilizers, especially in spreaders and
storage areas.
Swimming Pools:
All pool pumps can be protected from corrosion by spraying with Lanoguard.
Grease can be used on all O-rings.
Lube: When drilling
high carbon steel Leather & Vinyl:
Uses for leather and vinyl products include:
Work boots, golfing shoes,
football boots or any other leather footwear can be enhanced and waterproofed
by using Lanoguard spray or grease and rubbing it with a cloth
Waterproofing sewn seams
in tarps and tents
Canopies in boats can be
waterproofed by rubbing in Lanoguard
Spray it onto a cloth and
rub it into the dashboard of a car
Saddles, reins and harnesses
can be restored and waterproofed
Waterproof and stop sweat
marks on leather lounges by rubbing Lanoguard into them with a soft cloth.
